Remember the difference between a boss and a leader: a boss says, “Go!” while a leader says, “Let’s go!” E. M. Kelly
What do you most want to be remembered for as a leader? There are more lists of what a leader is supposed to do than I have any chance of listing here. So instead of giving you a list of “things” to do, I’d rather give you a tip. Well this is called Tip of the Day.
Start by figuring out what is a problem in the world that you have passion in seeing changed. Right away some people respond to that by saying what chance do I have to end something like world hunger? Maybe instead of starting with world hunger, you start with changing yourself.
Too many people spend too much time trying to change the world. What would it be like if everyone just did one thing to change themselves? What if for one day you just focused on how you would like to “be” in the world? My tip for today is to spend time honestly assessing how you are being. Are you being kind, supportive, and empathetic? Or are you being arrogant, rude, and impatient? Working on your self can be a full-time job. Good luck with that.
