RC Car, Sea Perch and Follow Car, Oh my! Our Engineering students here at Berkeley have begun work on many of their main projects which they will continue working on throughout the course of the session. The Sea Perch is a robot made to work in and under water, while the other two projects, a Remote-Controlled (RC) Car performs similar functions on land. The Line Following Car requires the students to write code in order to get their groups car to follow a line on the ground without input from a driver. These projects have challenged the TA groups to split up responsibility, work together to solve problems, and encourage one another when things don’t go according to plan, all skills they will be able to put to use in the future. We cant wait to see who wins in the final competitions, stay tuned!
