Yesterday, the students participated in one of our favorite guest lecturer activities, the Marketing lecture and Fashion Show, hosted by Dr. C. Over the years this has consistently been one of our most educational and fun activities – the students learn about the 5 P’s of Marketing through a makeshift fashion show where each group is responsible to quickly create a company, product and marketing campaign. They are then tasked with presenting to Dr. C who acts as a potential investor and evaluate the viability of the Marketing campaign in the real world. The Business staff enjoyed seeing their students step up in front of their peers and be brave enough to do the catwalk, even when they look a little goofy, putting many of their leadership lessons into action!
