Our Healthcare and Medicine students here at UC Berkeley participated in a Clinical Diagnostic Simulation where they did rounds as a team on a few patients (really their TAs acting as patients) and were then responsible for using their diagnositic manual to attempt a diagnosis. They used all research tools available to them to understand signs and symptoms of various diseases. This is always an interesting test of patient care and bedside manner and the students always learn as much about how to communicate with patients as they do with how to diagnose disease.
