Today our Biotechnology students visited The Gladstone Institute to learn about research, career paths, and particular research projects being pursued by some of the researchers at the institute. Specifically, they heard a very topical presentation on research being actively done at the institute on SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The students seemed particularly engaged in this session and asked many questions. Afterward they also had the opportunity to participate in an interactive exhibit and hang out in the private courtyard.
