Our TAs led a session where the students learned the fundamentals of Computer-aided Design using the Autodesk program Tinkercad. They utilized the software to design a personalized keychain and then had time to experiment with the program. Learning these skills will help them to further their product pitch project design and digital prototype for their final presentation. For many students this was their first foray into the world of CAD, but for those who were more experienced this activity also served as a leadership challenge where they were able to assist their peers while.
