Our Healthcare and Medicine students have been hard at work on their many hands on surgical and dissection activities. They dissected a cow eye and a sheep heart and were asked to identify certain parts of the anatomy. After having the chance to practice surgical skills the day before they also had a lecture on Pathways into Medicine from Dr. David Elkin, which was a great opportunity for the students to understand whether or not the field of medicine is a good fit for them.
