Sea Perch/RC Car Competition

Last night our Engineering students competed in one of their final group activities: the Sea Perch/RC Car competition!

All week, our students have been designing, soldering, and testing their two motorized products, and the final competition proved to be a surprising, stressful, and exciting time for all of our teams.

Anyone Can Save A Life/CPR

Yesterday, our Medicine & Health Care students learned about taking action and preventing deadly injuries/accidents with Dr. Cindy Chang, our resident physician here at the UC-Berkeley site.

48 Second Film Festival

Earlier in the week our Journalism, Film & Media Arts students participated in a 48-second film festival, in which the students have 2 hours to plan, film, and edit a 48-second film to show to their peers.

Roboroach Activity

Today our Biotechnology students began their Roboroach activity, in which the students perform ‘surgery’ on a real-life cockroach!! The goal is to be able to connect the roach’s antenna to a Bluetooth device.
