Guest lecturer Dr. Prashanth Asuri spoke with the Biotechnology students this morning on the importance of collaboration with industry partners when it comes to new and innovative biomaterials. As part of this talk he also spoke on some of the research he has worked on into specific biomaterials and partnerships he has formed with industry partners as well as universities while working in a lab setting. The students found the lecture very engaging, as evidenced by their many very intelligent questions and the number of students that stayed after to speak with him. This was his first time speaking with NSLC students and we hope to have him back in the future!
