Today the Medicine and Healthcare Students worked on multiple surgical skills during their surgical rotations. They were able to use the same tools that are used to train doctors in medical school. It was incredible to see how quickly these students picked up skills such as intubation, venipuncture, emergency care, and maneuvering laparoscopic tools. They worked with their TA’s and alongside Dr. Reid Haflich, who happens to be an NSLC alum himself!
